U.S. Marshals looking for Perry County inmates and two others

U.S. Marshals are looking for two Perry County escapees and two people believed to be connected form the prison break May 25.

Marshals are searching for Ashton Kenny Chase Mink, 22, and Joshua Loyd Southwick, 26, who escaped from Perry County Corrections Center in Uniontown and Angela Diana Mink, 25, the sister of Ashton Mink, and Jacquelin Rae Kennamer Mink, 25, the wife of Ashton Mink.

“The Alabama Department of Corrections has obtained arrest warrants on Angela Mink and Jacquelin Mink charging them with Aiding the Escape of State Prisoners,” Inspector Ross Hebert, Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force U.S. Marshals, said in a press release. “The United States Marshals Service has obtained federal arrest warrants charging all four subjects with Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution.”

There is strong evidence to believe that these subjects are armed and dangerous. A .380 caliber firearm was recovered near the escape scene. This firearm is believed to have been purchased by Jacquelin Mink in early May 2009. Angela Mink is known to carry a semi-automatic pistol and owns several other handguns and long arms.

The foursome is believed to have fled in a 2000 GMC Jimmy SUV, pewter in color, displaying Alabama license tag 47A21F2. Ashton Mink was serving a twenty year sentence after a 2008 conviction for Assault 1st degree in Madison County. Joshua Southwick was serving a life sentence after a 2007 conviction for murder and burglary 1st degree in Limestone County.

There have been numerous unconfirmed sightings of these subjects in and outside of Alabama. The United States Marshals Service is aggressively investigating all leads.

Ashton Kenny Chase Mink, from Huntsville, AL, is 5’08” tall, and 150 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.

Joshua Loyd Southwick, from Michigan, is 5’11” tall, and 170 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. Southwick has numerous tattoos on both arms, the back of his neck and on his back.

Angela Diana Mink, from Huntsville, AL, is 5’03” tall, and 105 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She is a tattoo artist by trade, and has tattoos on both arms and on her back.

Jacquelin Rae Kennamer Mink, from Huntsville, AL, is 5’07” tall, and 130 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.
