The 2009 Summer Food Service Program is slated to begin soon in Selma. The city of Selma is participating in the program, according to Krystal Dozier, summer food program administrator.

All children 18 years old and under will receive meals without charge.

“Acceptance and participation requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, age or disability and there will be no discrimination in the course meal service,” Dozier said.
