Jay Gilmer won the YMCA Paul Grist Boy of the Year award on Tuesday.

Gilmer, a senior at Morgan Academy, is the son of Mel and Catherine Gilmer. He ranks No. 7 in his class with a 3.75 GPA. He participated on the Senators’ varsity football, baseball and basketball teams and belongs to several non-athletic organizations as well.
