G. Glenn Carter, 48, of Plantersville, AL died Friday, May 1, 2009 in Birmingham. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Mack Martin and Rev. John Ingram officiating. Burial will follow in Plantersville Christian Church Cemetery. Survivors include his daughter, Sharon (Jeremy) Luster; son, Cody Carter; granddaughter, Alexis; father, Gordon Carter; brothers, Scott (Heather) Carter and Donnie (Sirena) Carter; sister, Kristine (Sam) Burge; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Carter was preceded in death by his infant son, Curtis Glenn Carter; mother, Maudine Chandler Carter, and a brother, Tony Carter. Active Pallbearers will be Ronnie Terry, Robin Terry, Channing Barron, Steven Walker, Donnie Wright, and Brandon Wright. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home.
