Dallas County scored eight runs in the first inning to cruise to 16-1 win over Jeff Davis on Friday.

Whitney Denson collected three hits for the day and Kim Ross and Ilicia Stewart finished with two hits apiece. Keneasha Jefferson hit a home run for the third time in as many days. Ciera Ingram, Cassandra Daniels, Debra Cunningham and Jasmine Gould also added hits. Daniels (7-2) earned the win with seven strikeouts over three hitless innings.
