Henry Rinehart

A celebration of life for the home going of Henry Gordan Rinehart, 88, will be held Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 11am at Bible Baptist Church in Camden, Alabama. Visitation will be held an hour prior to services. Graveside services and interment at Heiberger Methodist Church, Heiberger, Alabama with Rev. Thomas Primm officiating. Henry went home to be with our Lord March 3, 2009 after a short illness.
Henry was born August 24, 1921 to Otha and Sadie Rinehart of Marion, Alabama. He was a long-time resident of Camden, Alabama. He re-tired from his pulpwood and clearing business in 1989. After his retirement, he enjoyed visiting with his many friends and relatives. He was a member of the Men’s SS Class and Bible Baptist Church. During earlier years, he enjoyed flying his own plane, taking a short solo flight on his 75th birthday. Henry was predeceased by his parents, brother Will T. Rinehart; sister, Annie R. Barton, Gladys R. Gable and Mildred R. Weeden.
Surviving are brothers, Walter O. Rinehart, McCalla, Alabama, James F. (Bud) Beth, Thomas J. (Thomasine) of Marion, Alabama; sister, Elizabeth R. Kilgore, Selma, Alabama, Jean Hartshorne, Panama City, FL, Jonnie R. Campbell, Columbia, SC and Shirley R. (Ernest) Fike, Marion, Alabama. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank his long-time friend, Clayton Waren for the many kind deeds. Also doctors and nurses of Baptist South, Montgomery, Alabama, Dr. Lee, nurses, and caregivers of Perry County Nursing Home, Marion, Alabama.
