Lee Scott beat the Morgan girls 77-97 Friday morning in Montgomery at the AISA Elite 8 tournament.

Leading scorers for Lee Scott were Jessica Washington, who scored 40 points in 14 minutes of play. Washington hit 10 of 14 from the 3-point range. Others were Olivia Maddox with 11 points and Melisa Maddox with 11 points.

April Clark was the high scorer for Morgan with 13 points. Clark hit 6 of 16 from the field and 1 of 2 from the line. Sarah Hughey followed with five points. She hit 2 of 10 from the field. Caitlin Henderson and Brook Robertson posted four points each during the contest.
