PEARSON, Mrs. Bertha Mae, a resident of Montgomery, AL., departed this life on Friday, January 23, 2009. Funeral services will be held on Sat., January 31, 2009 at 10:00 am from New Life Church of God In Christ, Annex #5, with Rev. Filbert Martin officiating, Rev. Terry Ellison, Pastor. Interment will follow in Eastwood Cemetery with Phillips-Riley Funeral Home directing. Precious memories of her life will be cherished forever by her children, Michael J. Pearson, Denver, CO., Donald L. Pearson, Jr. and Monique T. Pearson, Montgomery, AL.; sisters, Mary Houser, Rosie Houser, Margaret Roberts, Dorothy Jones, Bessie Hunter, Pensacola, FL., Eula Swift, Rosie Hale; sisters-in-law, Carrie L. Houser and Nadine Fitts; brothers, Willie Fitts and McArthur Fitts all of Selma, AL.; a loving and devoted companion, Robert Reynolds, Montgomery, AL.; a devoted former daughter-in-law, Tammy Pearson, Montgomery, AL., In her honor and keeping her spirit to carry on her name she leaves six grandchildren, Dominique T. Pearson, Donald D. Pearson, Brandon Pearson, Cameron Pearson, Brianna Pearson, Malachai J. Ridgle all of Montgomery, AL. a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Mrs. Pearson will lie in state at the church one hour to services.
