Fannie L. Atkins, 74, of Orrville, AL died Thursday, January 1, 2009, at Vaughan Regional Hospital. Services are scheduled for 1 pm Saturday January 10, 2009 at first Baptist Church of Orrville with the Rev. Dwight woods officiating. Burial will follow in First Baptist Church cemetery under the direction of Miller Funeral Service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Late Leanna Winfield and Richard L. King: daughter, late Dorothy Hayes; brother, late L.D. Williams and sister, late Ellen Rose Winfield.
Survivors include her husband, James Atkins, Sr.; five sons, James Atkins Jr., Eddie Lee (Clara) Atkins, A.C. (Celcia) Atkins, Richard (Jackie) Atkins and Steve Atkins; three daughters, Vanessa Bennett, Fannie Atkins and Regina Williams; three brothers, C.B. Winfield Jr., Allen Winfield and Leon Winfield; three sisters, Rose Etta (Nick) Lofton, Mary Lee Winfield and Delia Mae Johnson; forty seven grand-children, sixty five great grandchildren, three daughters-in-laws, and a host of nieces and nephews.
