Dr. Dewey “Skeeter” C. Moore, 83, of Selma died Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 10, 2009 at New Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. George Wood and Rev. John Ackerman officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service officiating. He is survived by his wife, Ada Gene Moore; two brothers, William Moore and Thomas Moore; and numerous friends. Active Pallbearers will be Bill Kendricks, Bobby Faulkenberry, Barry Stapp, and Bruce Sewell. Dr. Moore was a member of Marion Junction Presbyterian Church and a member of Omega Tau Sigma, a Veterinarian Fraternity.
