Central Christian jumped on an overmatched Jackson Academy team early, then cruised to an 84-17 win on Friday.

“It was one of those, ‘I’m ready to go home games,’” said Central Christian coach Carl Rawls. “A game like that was good for us. Sometimes when you play a team like that, you play sloppy. We kept the momentum and did the fundamental things right.”

The win also gave the Warriors a chance to put Thursday’s 56-54 loss to No. 1 Warrior behind them.
