Irene Goodman Campbell, 80, of Selma died Monday, December 29, 2008 at a local nursing home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at Lawrence Brown Service Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Craft officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday. Mrs. Campbell is survived by her husband, James Campbell; children, Sam Smith, Jr. (Alice), Betty Headley, Rev. Jerry Smith (Lisa), and Donna Vining (Jeffrey); 18 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be Jeffrey Vining, James Smith, Stephen Averette, and Lloyd Chisnoll.
