WINDY CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS ALL OF CENTRAL ALABAMA ON WEDNESDAY. SOUTHERLY WINDS ARE EXPECTED AT 10 TO 20 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS.

THERE IS A CHANCE FOR STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS PORTIONS OF WEST CENTRAL ALABAMA. AT THIS TIME THE MAIN THREAT AREA LOOKS TO BE NORTHWEST OF A LINE FROM LIVINGSTON TO TUSCALOOSA TO BIRMINGHAM TO ONEONTA BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 3 P.M. AND 9 P.M.

DAMAGING WINDS WOULD BE THE MAIN THREAT. ANY STORMS THAT DO DEVELOP WILL GRADUALLY LOSE INTENSITY AFTER 7 P.M.

THE STORM PREDICTION HAS PLACED A SMALL PORTION OF NORTHWESTERN ALABAMA IN A SLIGHT RISK FOR SEVERE WEATHER.

YET ANOTHER FRONT APPROACHES CENTRAL ALABAMA ON SATURDAY. THERE IS A CHANCE THAT A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL APPROACH WESTERN PARTS OF CENTRAL ALABAMA ALONG THE FRONT. CONFIDENCE IS LOW AT THIS TIME DUE TO THE TIMING OF THE FRONT.
