Janelle McPheron Weaver, 79, of Marion, AL died Thursday, December 18, 2008 at DCH.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 20, 2008, at Hopewell Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 1:45 at the church. Joe Bob Mizzell will officiate and Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel will direct. Burial will follow in Marion Cemetery.
Mrs. Weaver was born on March 24, 1929 in Perry County to William Allen and Lucy Belle Curb McPheron.
Mrs. Weaver was a dispatcher with Marion Police Dept. and Asst. Manager for Marion IGA for many years.
Survivors include her husband, Henry C. Weaver Sr.; two sons, Sonny Weaver (Connie) of Demopolis, AL and Steve McPheron (Vicky) of Denver, CO; two daughters, Lucy Kynard (Mike) Marion and Sue Price (Preacher) of Douglasville, GA; and twelve grandchildren.
Active Pallbearers will be Steven Aubrey (Mac) McPheron, Hilary Clellan (Bubba) Price, Michael Allen Kynard, Samuel Casey Morrison, LCPL Jarrod Dustin Weaver, John Tyler Morrison, Brad Hobson, Timmy Hughey.
Honorary Pallbearers will be SGT Simon Daniel Price, Kyle McPheron, John Lapsley, Richard Royster, Billy Ray Sanders, Brett Harrison, Dr. Paul Ketcham and staff, and John Anderson.
