Alabama Farmers Federation president elected to sixth term
Jerry Newby of Athens has been re-elected as president of the Alabama Farmers Federation. He will serve his sixth two-year term.
Newby, who was first elected in 1998, was opposed by Jimmy Parnell of Chilton County.
Newby’s re-election was announced Monday at the 87th annual meeting of the Farmers Federation in Mobile.
