Police on Sunday arrested a robbery suspect they had been looking for since August.
Authorities apprehended Ricky Dwayne Walker, 26, at his residence at 304 Gain Ave.
Walker is believed to have been involved in the robbery of another man on Aug. 8.
“Walker allegedly approached a male sitting in a car,” Sgt. Doug Stewart said. “The suspect opened the passenger door of the vehicle and pointed a handgun at the victim demanding money.”
Walker allegedly made off with $72 dollars, but was fingered in a lineup.
“Det. Beauty Benjamin had the victim look at a lineup,” Stewart said. “The victim identified Mr. Walker.”
Police picked up Walker and also found out he had three other warrants — two criminal mischief third degree charges and domestic violence harassment.
Officers placed Walker in the Dallas County Jail under a $30,000 bond and cash-only bonds of $824.05, $962 and $397.
