A woman was transported by ambulance mid-morning Thursday, after the black Buick Century she was driving collided into a sign and a couple of vehicles for sale at a local car dealership on U.S. Highway 80 East.

The woman, whose name was not given, was conscious when emergency medical technicians pulled her out of the vehicle. A man who said he was her father, but declined to give his name, said emergency workers told him no bones were broken. “It was the air bags and the grace of God,” he said.

Firefighters from the Selma Fire Department responded to the scene in the event of a gas leak from one of the vehicles. The firefighters were working the scene and did not have any information available.
