McCain gets 1 in 5 of Clinton supporters in Pa.

An exit poll by The Associated Press shows that some Democrats who supported Hillary Clinton crossed party lines in support of Republican John McCain.
Clinton beat Barack Obama in the state’s April Democratic primary election. Roughly 1 in 5 Democrats who supported her say they voted for McCain on Tuesday.
Most voters also say race wasn’t an important factor in the general election. Voters who say it was important were about evenly split between Obama and McCain.
President Bush is getting a strong disapproval rating from Pennsylvania voters, and more than half say the economy is the most important issue facing the country.
