Myrtlene DeWitt Loyd, age 88, formerly of Selma, resided in Stevenson, AL for ten years, died Wednesday, October 29, 2008. Survivors include her son; James D. “Jimmie” Warr (Ann), sister; Ruby Elkins of Louisburg, NC, brother; Robert DeWitt of Selma, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 Saturday November 1, 2008 at Marion Junction Cemetery with Reverend Daniel Martin officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Loyd was retired from R.L. Polk Company. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Diabetic Association.
