One dead after drive-by shooting
A drive-by shooting Monday night on Voeglin Avenue has left a woman dead.
Selma police officers are looking for two suspects, a driver and a passenger, in a dark vehicle believed to have been involved in the shooting at 11 p.m. Monday.
Selma Police Chief William T. Riley III said a woman was standing with her son outside on Voeglin Avenue when someone fired shots from a vehicle as it drove by. The victim, who was not identified, was taken to Vaughan Regional Medical Center.
Riley said she died around 9 a.m. Tuesday.
