Wilcox takes sixth loss of season
The clouds were out, and Wilcox Central (1-6) couldn’t stop Carver (7-0) from pouring it on, and handed the Jaguars their sixth loss of the season,50-0.
Carver’s senior running back Andrew Pitts scored 3 touchdowns, and rushed for over 1,000 yards for the season. The first half belonged to the Wolverines. Junior quarterback, Reggie Aaron (6’3”, 250lbs.) threw two touchdowns to Jamel Johnson, to take the early lead 21-0.
With 7:20 left in the half, Pitts scored on a 5 and 28 yard touchdown, converted the 2 point conversion, and the Wolverines led 36-0. Carver opened up the third quarter on their own 2 yard line, second play from scrimmage. Pitts went 98 yards for the touchdown and led 43-0.
