MOBILE — Coach Foster Davis of Selma was displeased with his team’s performance, although Selma pulled out the 22-15 win. Nobody stood out, Davis said.
“We played poorly. We were looking to win, that’s all.”
John LeFlore scored early in the first quarter. Selma came back and added a couple to take the lead. LeFlore blocked a Selma punt just before the half and scored on the turnover, then added two more on the conversion to make the score 17-15. That’s the way the score stayed until the 2 1/2 minute mark when Selma added an insurance touchdown. The Saints travel to Demopolis next week.
