Shoshana Rena Thomas, 31, of Selma, AL died Thursday, September 11, 2008 at her home.
Services are scheduled for Saturday, September 20 at Ellwood Community Church with the Pastor Gary Lamar Crum Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in New Live Oak cemetery under the direction of Miller Funeral Service.
Survivors include her parents, Delois Thomas and Robert Edwards, of Selma, AL, Robert Powell (Biological father), Orrville, AL and loving grandparents, Lula Mae Nettles and Willie Bill (Dora) Keith both of Selma, AL; daughter, Shalonzia T’Nee Tubbs; six brothers, Eric, Rodney, Cedric, and Roderick Powell, and Derrick Williams, Selma, AL, Wydericus (Tasha) Edwards of Montgomery AL, and also a god brother Daryl Crenshaw of Thomasville, GA; four special sisters, (Non-biological) Nicole White, Shayla Crenshaw, Lashanda and Demetria Grayson of Selma, AL. Other relatives include ten caring aunts, Patricia Thomas and Diana Jackson of Montgomery, AL., Chandra Keith Jones of Detroit, MI., Vivica Keith, Vivian (Aster) Swanighan, Debra McCall of GA., Brenda (Clarence) Hawkins of Selma, AL., Lula (Jarious) Powell Watters, Diana (William) Powell Lumpkin, and Patricia (Patrick) Powell Pettway of Orrville, AL. Seven caring uncles, Calvin (Lavonia) Thomas of Cleveland, OH., Steve (Marie) Thomas, Johnny Taylor of Killeen, TX., Ronnie Keith of Detroit , MI, William Keith of GA., Charles, and Jimmy Powell of Orrville, AL, and Bruce (Angela) Fincher, five great aunts, and three great uncles.
Three very special cousins, Stephanie Jackson, Tamara Young, and Eric Keith Two devoted (God) parents, Danny and Bennie Ruth Crenshaw, a special uncle and aunt, Roy and Minnie McMillan, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
