Four male juveniles arrested in woman’s death

Four male juveniles are jailed in the fatal beating of a Montgomery woman.
Montgomery Police Chief Arthur Baylor announced the arrests at a news conference Thursday.
He said officers arrested Herbert Turner and Quanderrious Johnson, both 17; 16-year-old Jhavarske Lewis; and a 15-year-old whose name was withheld.
Baylor said each boy was charged with capital murder.
The four are accused of striking 53-year-old Brenda Sherard in the face with a pistol in the front yard of her home on Sept. 11. She died two days later.
Her husband escaped injury.
Police said robbery was the motive.
