Rosie Lee Crum, a life long resident of Selma passed Sept. 3, 2008 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday Sept. 13, 2008 at the Summer Grove Baptist Church with Rev Willie Jackson officiating. The body will lie in state in the church for one hour prior to the services. Interment will follow in Fairlawn Memory Garden with J. H. Williams &Sons Funeral Home directing.
Affectionately known as Ma’dear, Rosie created cherished memories during her 80 years for her family and friends and with her beloved husband of 51 years, the late Samson Crum, Sr. She is survived by two sons and two daughters; Rev. Samson Crum, Jr. and his wife Shirley of Montgomery, AL, Carl D. Crum and wife Eddie Mae also of Montgomery; Irma Jean Crum Owens of Selma and Mary Louise Brayboy and her husband James of Columbus, GA
