Wallace falls to Central Alabama in straight games

Wallace Community College fell to 0-8 on the year with a straight game loss to Central Alabama Community College at home on Wednesday.

“We’re a lot better than what we performed tonight,” coach Bettina Sellers said. “We started out slow tonight. I think they had a lot on them with this being the first home game.”

The Trojans swept the best-of-5 series 25-10, 25-21 25-18.

“We’re headed to bigger and better things,” Sellers said. “I’m sure that after tonight’s game, they know what they have to put into perspective and what they have to do to get the job done.”

The Lady Patriots play at Faulkner State next Thursday.
