Frances A. Spigner, passed away Friday, August 29, 2008 at the age of 82.
Preceding Mrs. Spigner in death is her husband, Henry G. Spigner, Sr. and her son, Henry “Hank” Spigner, Jr.
She is survived by her daughters, Sandra (Roger) Carter and Karen (Bryan) Welch; brother, Leighton (Maryann) Tyus; grandchildren, Kristen (Terry) Lawrence, Craig (Kim) Carter and Boone (Jonna) Threadgill; great-grandchildren, Dane Carter, Christopher Lawrence, Johnathon Lawrence, Meredith Lawrence, Caroline Carter and Kayden Threadgill. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive Mrs. Spigner.
Visitation was from 6–8:00 p.m. Sunday, August 31, 2008 at Selma Funeral Home. Funeral services were 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 1, 2008 at Bethel Baptist Church in Jones, AL with Rev. Calvin Strickland officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were be Wayne Coppedge, Randy Tyus, Michael Lawrence, Kyle Lawrence, J.T. Lawrence and Terry Headley.
