Margaret Marie Griffin, 59, of Sardis, AL died Thursday, August 21, 2008, at Vaughan Regional Medical Center.
Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., August 30, at Freewill Christian Church with the Rev. Jerry Holman officiating. Burial will follow in Esalem Cemetery under the direction of Millers Funeral Service. Mrs. Griffin was a homemaker. She was a graduate of R.B. Hudson High School and a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her father Mr. John L. Hosea.
Survivors include a devoted husband, Mr. Steve Griffin Jr.; a loving mother, Mrs. Gertrude Hosea; four daughters. Sheila Sherman (Lynn), Deidre Hosea, Stephanie Griffin, and Laticia Mitchell; two sons, Kendrick Griffin and Curtis Griffin (Shaundra); six sisters, Annette May (William), Donzetta Shelton, Carolyn Hosea, Shirley Wilkerson, Cassandra Winn, and Laquanda Trone; eight brothers, John Hosea Jr., Samuel Lee Hosea (Tracy), Barron Tyrone Yates, Willie Charles Hosea, Aaron Jerome Yates, Herbert Yates, Timothy Harris Hosea, Willie James Harris, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
