James Jones, 71, of Brooklyn, NY died August 20, 2008 at his home. Services are scheduled for Saturday, August 30, 2008 at 12:00 noon at the Lewis Brothers Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Rodney Morton. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Brothers Funeral Home Inc.
He graduated from R. B. Hudson High School, Class of 1955 and retired from the State of New York. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Mary R. Cage of Selma. Other relatives include niece, Maria “Cookie” and her family, Melvin and Maurio Dale of Sardis, AL, his feline companion “Ms. Margo Jones” of Brooklyn, NY, and numerous cousins and friends of New York, Selma, and throughout the country.
