Lewis Howard Fuqua, 82, of Selma died July 24, 2008 at his home. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Joe Britton officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 p.m. on Sunday.
Mr. Fuqua is survived by his wife, Jewell Sellers Fuqua; daughters, Debra K. Hughey, Lisa Keasler (Buddy), Brenda Joyce Ingram (Tom); son, Tony Howard Fuqua (Angie); Grandchildren, Trecey Dewalt (Chad), Dannon Appleyard (Renee), Lauren Patrick (Jason), Jeremy Hughey (Brandy), Meg Gale (Dan), Murray Keasler, and Ryanne Fuqua; Great Grandchildren, Kylee Gale, Savannah Patrick, Gavin Appleyard, and Lake Gale; brothers, William Fuqua (Jen), Edward Fuqua (Ella), James Fuqua (Joan), and Ernest Fuqua (Velma); sister-in-law, Joan Fuqua; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Mr. Fuqua was a member of the VFW Post 3016.
