Senior citizens in Dallas County will get some free fresh fruits and vegetables if they sign up.

The Alabama Tombigbee Regional Commission Area Agency on Aging and the state Farmer&8217;s Market Authority will re-issue free Farmers Market Coupon Booklets valued at $28 for those who have not already received the booklets this year.

Recipients of the booklets must be 60 or older, live in Dallas County and meet income guidelines. The program requires photo identification.

Income guidelines include:

Distribution will be noon Thursday at Broad Street Senior Center, First Presbyterian Church, 310 Broad Street, Selma.

Each recipient must sign for the book that they receive.
