Lt. David Evans said a witness saw a 1992 Nissan truck parked at a manufacturing plant on Oak Street and saw two men loading saw parts onto the truck.

The person became suspicious and called authorities.

Evans said police investigated and believed the suspects took parts to sell for scrap metal.

He estimated the value of the parts at $1,100.

Thomas and King were booked into the Dallas County Jail under a $15,000 bond each.

Both made bond and were released.
