Clariece Norris Rives

Clariece Norris Rives, age 83, a resident of Pleasant Hill, AL, passed away May 18, 2008.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. J. C. Norris, brother, Nelson Norris and sisters, Annie Sue Jacobs, Ina N. Weedon, Carrie Rives and Ethel Vanhussan.

Survivors are her husband, Claudius Green &8220;Busty&8221; Rives, IV; sons, Claudius &8220;Green&8221; (Nancy) Rives, V, Ernest L.(Dee) Rives

and Jesse Andrews &8220;Andy&8221; (Becky) Rives; daughter, Theresa Rives (Wetzel) Wood; brothers, Thomas Dewalt Norris and Clarence Norris; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church

Cemetery with Dr. David Thomas officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be at the church from 1:00-2:30 p.m.

Pallbearers will be John Mayo, Jack Mayo, Teddy Pouncey, Charlie Rives, Rodney Rives, Scotty Harris, John Henry, Billy Hardy, Theron Lang, Frank Middleton, Bob Culpepper and W. J. Simmons.

Mrs. Rives served 18 years as church treasurer,

designed and gave the first written report to the church members of the expenses and salaries ever given to the individual members.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made to the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Mrs. Pam Rives, County Road 12, Sardis, AL

Mr. Keith A. Rogers, 47, of Montgomery, AL died Saturday, May 17, 2008, at Capitol Hill Healthcare.

Mr. Thomas Cater, of Atlanta, and formerly of Selma, Alabama died May 18, 2008 in Atlanta, GA.

Mr. William &8220;BeBe&8221; Green

Mr. William &8220;BeBe&8221; Green, 86, of Selma died Tuesday, May 13, 2008, in Selma.

Services are scheduled for 12:00 noon, Tuesday, May 20, at the Mt.

Zion P.B. Church with the Rev.

Bryan Starks officiating.

Burial will follow in Elmwood cemetery under the direction of Miller Funeral Home Service.

Survivors include stepdaughter, Mary B. Powell; nieces, Lucy G.

Bethel, of Pompano Beach, Florida; Dorothy G. Harrison, Willieanna G. Walkins (James) and Patricia G. Cunningham, all of Selma, AL.

Also six stepchildren; a special cousin, Dorothy Green Dunn of Vallego, CA; nephew, Roy William Bennett of Selma.
