Local law enforcement officers, members of the District Attorney&8217;s Drug Task Force and local school officials conducted routine checks for drugs in Selma High School, CHAT Academy and the Phoenix School today.
At mid-morning, authorities had taken drug-sniffing dogs into Selma High and CHAT. Law enforcement officers also examined students&8217; lockers. No drugs were found on either campus and no arrests made.
District Attorney Michael Jackson said the schools and his office work closely together to keep drugs out of schools and away from children.
