New said rising prices have driven this crisis and caused distress among the most needed, especially those on limited or fixed incomes.

The current economic climate has weakened the flow of funds to social service agencies, such as The Salvation Army.

The Salvation Army has provided God&8217;s love for more than 120 years in Selma and is committed to continued service in the Black Belt.

To more efficiently serve the needs of the community, The Salvation Army Family Store in Selma will be closed until Thursday to complete store reorganization.

The store will accept donations during reorganization.
