So far this season, Grimes has not been defeated in any of her races. She has dominated the 100 meters and 200 meters, posting career times in each event. Last season she ran the 100 meters in 12.4 seconds, making the state finals as a sophomore. In her last four meets this season, she has posted times of 11.8 seconds twice and 12.0 and 11.9. The times rank her as one of the elite female runners in the state.

Hawkins has also posted personal best times. Out of seven meets, he has placed first in the 100 meters five times and second in the remaining two.

Strong and Floyd have competed strongly in the 400 and 800 meter runs.

The Saints have only three seniors out of a 32-member squad this season. They hope to qualify six or more members for the state competition next week.
