SELMA &045; Sen. John McCain took a question about rising gas prices, and it was hardly surprising that his response drew the biggest ovation of the morning.
McCain addressed America’s dependence on foreign fuel and a bevy of other topics during an informal press conference in front of the St. James Hotel on Monday morning.
The presumptive Republican hopeful in the upcoming presidential election said he has based his campaign on issues that appeal to people of all backgrounds. His trek through the predominately African-American and Democratic Black Belt region is to visit &8220;forgotten places in Alabama&8221; and was the beginning of his Time for Action Tour.
