Ms. Carrie J. Bennett, 75 of Marion, AL, died Feb. 27, 2008 at DCH Hospital.

Funeral services are scheduled for March 5, 208 at 1:00 P.M. at Marion Baptist. Burial will be in Pine Crest Memorial Garden and directed by Miller Funeral Service, Inc.

Survivors include 5 sons, David (Mary) Bennett, Willie Bennett, SR.,

(Mary) Bennett, Howard (Connie) Bennett, Marvin (Leshae) Bennett, Anthony Bennett;

3 daughters, Brenda (Carl) Akins, Shirley Bennett (Eric), Annie Bennett (Earnest).

Patricia Ann Bennett preceded her in death; 2 sisters, Emily Easley and Ruth Sawyer.

28 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, Shamira Bennett, grandchild raised as her own child.

Herbert Brand, Sr., 74, of Marion, AL died March 1, 2008 at Bibb County

Medical Center.
