UNIONTOWN – The R.C. Hatch Bobcats left little doubt as to their place in the regional tournament this week.

Hatch (23-1) advanced to Montgomery by beating Hale County 85-48 Friday night.

Frankie Sullivan scored 25 points, pulled down nine rebounds and also had five assists and five steals.

Rodney Scott scored 19 points with four rebounds, Nicholas Johnson had 10 points and eight rebounds and Trence Askew had 10 rebounds.

The Bobcats will play Lanett at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Alabama State Acadome.
