Walter Hollman Jr. is ready to have his day in court. Today may be it.
The case of resisting arrest against Hollman and his grandson, Kourtney Gordon, is nearly a year old. They were both arrested by Selma police officers the night of March 16, 2007, in Hollman&8217;s front yard as family members looked on. The Hollmans claim police used excessive force. Police said they were doing their jobs.
The hearing is expected to begin at 10:30 a.m. in Selma Municipal Court with Judge Joseph Hagood presiding.
Hollman is charged with disorderly conduct. Gordon, 21, is charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. The men were arrested at Hollman&8217;s West Drive home.
