Sports Editor George L. Jones just called in from Faulkner, where the AISA tournament is going on. Earlier this evening the Morgan Academy girls lost 58-47.

The boys game, which ended not long ago was a real heartbreaker, Jones reported. They lost to Cottage Hill 59-50. In the last minute of the game, Cottage Hill led 52-50, but put the game out of reach by hitting seven of eight free throws in the last 39 seconds of play.

“Cottage Hill ripped the heart right out of them,” Jones said.
