Welcome to Selma, DayStop service

On Monday, an Eclipse 300 Very Light Jet touched down in Selma, marking an historic event: Selma as a destination for DayStop.
This new business doesn&8217;t mean any new jobs. It&8217;s not like a big industry moving into town. But DayStop&8217;s arrival in Selma will have some economic impact because the company will purchase fuel here.
As important, DayStop&8217;s decision to make Selma one of its locations may be viewed as a recruiting tool for industries. Executives or other business people won&8217;t have to drive to Montgomery or Birmingham to catch a flight out.
In the world of attracting new business and industry, little things mean a lot.
Welcome, DayStop.
