DayJet touches down in Selma

An Eclipse 300 Very Light Jet (VLJ) can be cleared to fly into Selma as soon as today.

The city is now officially a DayStop destination and will provide basic support services for DayJet, a growing private air carrier.

The company eliminates the need for long-distance driving among business travelers by providing direct flights to cities across the Southeast.

Daystops serve as stopover points, connecting them to other cities around the region. There are five other Alabama locations &045; Auburn, Dothan, Fairhope, Mobile and Montgomery.
