CAMDEN – Wilcox-Central threw just about everything R.C. Hatch’s way Saturday night.
The Bobcats trailed after every quarter and forced overtime to settle the game. Behind double-doubles from Frankie Sullivan and Demarcus Porter, Hatch came from behind to beat the Jaguars 67-61 in the final game of the Wilcox Invitational.
It is the second consecutive win over Wilcox for Hatch, and the Bobcats have won two of the last three in the series.
Sullivan had 36 points and 16 rebounds, and Porter had 22 points and 10 rebounds. Nicholas Johnson pulled down 15 boards for the Bobcats.
Kendrick Atwood led the Jags with 25 points, and Stephon Butler scored 10.
Wilcox led 17-7 at the end of the first quarter, but the Bobcats closed the gap and trailed 28-25 at the half.
The two teams left regulation in a 56-all tie, and then Hatch’s offense broke out and took advantage of just five overtime points from Wilcox.
