Hatch pulls away from Choctaw Co.

CAMDEN – Choctaw County gave R.C. Hatch all it could handle, but the third quarter made the difference.
The Bobcats led by seven at halftime but pulled out to a double-digit lead and won 74-63 in the first day of the Wilcox-Central Invitational.
A pair of double-doubles led the way for Hatch. Frankie Sullivan scored a game-high 26 points and also had 13 rebounds, and Nicholas Johnson had 10 points and 10 rebounds. Rodney Scott scored 21 with six rebounds, and Trence Askew had seven points and eight rebounds.
Choctaw County trailed 38-31 after the second quarter ended but saw that gap widen in the third.
Hatch went into the final quarter ahead 54-42.
