Louise Sellers Gentry, age 92, a resident of Montgomery, passed away Dec. 25, 2007. in Selma, Ala.

Funeral Services will be held graveside at New Live Oak Cemetery at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007, with the Rev. A. J. Krause officiating, and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home Directing.

Mrs. Gentry is survived by her four children; Ted L. Gentry (Joyce) of Houston, Texas, John W. Gentry of Decatur, Ala. , Suzanne G. Smith of Selma, Caroline G. Krause (A. J.) of Mobile, 14 grandchildren; Tara G. Chavers of Denver, Colo., Ted E. Gentry of Houston, Texas, Shae B. Gentry of Moorpark, Calif., John Gentry Jr. of Pensacola, Fla., Carrie G. Osbourne of Dallas, Texas, Jeff Smith III of Pleasant Hill, Gentry S. Smith of Prattville, Suzie S. Nichols of Hoover, Kalin J. Krause of Annapolis, Md., Dresh M. Krause, Ashton Krause, Taylor Krause, Chanel Krause, and Charlotte Krause all of Mobile; 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Ms. Edna Jackson Phillips

Edna Jackson Phillips, age 88, died Monday, Dec. 24, 2007, at a local nursing home.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home officiated by Douglas Coats. Burial will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12

to 1 p.p. Friday at the funeral home.

She is survived by her daughters; Susan P. Haugen of Selma, and Sandra P. (Fred) Hight of Leakesville, Miss., four grandchildren; Robin H. (Josh) Tate of Selma, Scott H. Haugen of Selma, Danny (Lora) Hight of Purvis, Miss., and Susan (Gill) Rustin of Leakesville, Miss., two great-grandchildren; Taylor Haugen and Nathan Hight, her sister; Dorothy Favorite of Palmetto, Fla., and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, E. P. Phillips, her parents, one brother, one sister, and her son-in-law. Service as pallbearers will be Scott Haugen, Danny Hight, Bob Philips, Arthur Phillips, Guy Favorite and Douglas Coats.

Mr. Harold W. Lightfoot

FORT MADISON, Iowa &8212; Mr. Harold W. Lightfoot, 86, died Friday, Dec. 21, 2007, at West Point Care Center, Iowa.

He is survived by his wife, Marcella of West Point; sons, Thomas (Maureen) Lightfoot of Las Cruces, N.M., Gary (Vickie) Lightfoot of Fort Madison, Dr. William (Sue) Lightfoot of Selma; grandchildren Jeff (Jennifer) Lightfoot of Port Angeles, Wash., Shawn (Erin) Lightfoot of Arvado, Col., John Lightfoot, Ryan (Amy) Lightfoot of Ft. Madison, Tad (Amy) Lightfoot of Selma and Dori (Clint) Norris of Sardis; and seven great-grandchildren.

His parents and a sister preceded him in death.

After cremation, a graveside service will be held on Jan. 2 at Soldiers Circle at Oakland Cemetery in Ft. Madison.

Ms. Emma D. Reeves Williamson

Ms. Emma D. Reeves Williamson, 79, of Selma, died Dec. 26, 2007, at Park Place Nursing Home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Dec. 28, at Union Chapel, Coffeeville, Ala., officiated by the Rev. James D. Johnson. Burial will follow at Union Chapel Cemetery, directed by Miller Funeral Service.

Ms. Williamson was preceded in death by her mother, Naomi Cox Reeves, father, Elbert Reeves, brothers, Sydney Reeves, Charlie Reeves, husband, A.C. Williamson, son, Ronnie Frank Williamson, and grandson, Matthew Shaw Williamson.

She leaves to cherish her memory three sons, Rocky (Jean) Williamson, James Russell Williamson, Ashley (Wanda) Williamson;

two daughters, Sybil D. (James)

Johnson, and Cathy (James) Tripp; one daughter-in-law, Cynthia Cunnings Williamson; one brother, I.G. (Kate)

Reeves, one sister, Aliene Reeves Hodge, 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two sons-in-law, three daughters-in-law, one sister-in-law, and a large number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Shane Williamson, Aaron Williamson, Chris Tripp, Patrick Tripp, Michael Curtis, and Chuck Burroughs.

Ms. Melakkiki Edwards, Selma native, died Thursday, Dec. 20 at Tuscaloosa County Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29 at the Little Rock Baptist Church at 2980 Rangeline Road.

Mr. Joseph Cook, 73, died Dec. 22, 2007, in Selma.

Clara F. Buchanan, age 78, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007, after a lengthy illness.

She is survived by her two daughters; five sons; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, and one brother.

Funeral services will be graveside at Pineview Memory Gardens on Friday, Dec. 28, 2007, at 2 p.m.
