Evelyn Hotard, age 77, a resident of Selma, passed away Dec. 9, 2007.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Lester Pettus Green; mother, Myrtle Lea Bridges; husband, Emile J. Hotard; daughters, Sandra Marie Garetino and Emma Mary Holmes; granddaughter, Genea Marie Garetino and brother, W. C. Green.

Surviving are her sons, Honore Muntz and Lester Emile (Nicole) Hotard; daughters, Deborah Anne (Eugene) Pipkins and Joyce Frances (Jack) Arnold; brothers, Walter Oliver Green and Richard Clint Green; sisters, Faye Sealy, Mollie Allen, Jeanette Bourg, Daisy Naquin, Nannie Johnston and Emma Foman; 22 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be in the chapel of Selma Funeral Home at 11 a.m.,

Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2007, with the Rev. Scott Wright and the Rev. Daniel Wessell officiating.

Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home

from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2007.

Pallbearers will be Michael Garetino, Chris Cambre, Shone Curole, Whitney Curole, III, Jason Muntz, Russell Valence, Jr., Jeremy Crowe and Steve Foman.

Mr. Duane Cross Morgan, 58, of Selma died Monday, Dec. 3, 2007 in a local hospital.

A memorial service will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home.

Mr. Morgan was survived by his mother, Elise Cook Morgan, however she died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2007. He was also predeceased by his brother, Donald Morgan, Jr. and his father Donald Morgan, Sr.
