Sullivan one steal shy of triple double

MARION – Frankie Sullivan nearly pulled off a triple-double in leading R.C. Hatch to a 65-50 win over Francis Marion Friday night.

Sullivan scored a game-high 32 points, pulled down 10 rebounds and had nine steals. The senior guard has scored 69 points in his last two games, both wins for the Bobcats.

Rodney Scott scored 12 points for Hatch, and Nicholas Johnson had nine points and 10 rebounds.

DeAdrian Williams led the Rams with 13 points, and Jerome Smith followed with 12.

Brittany Harris and Tiara Sawyer each scored 15 points to help Marion take a 45-42 lead over R.C. Hatch.

Jamie Morton added 10 points for the Bobcats.

Ashley Walker led Marion in scoring with 13 points, and Ebony Smith had 11.
