Mr. Charlie Scott Jr.

CLEVELAND, Ohio &045; Mr. Charlie Scott, Jr., 80, formerly of Jefferson, died recently in Cleveland.

Public viewing and visitation was 1 p.m. Wednesday, with Family hour from 6 to 7 p.m.

Burial will be Friday morning in Scott Memorial Cemetery, Jefferson, under the direction of Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis.

Mr. Paul Lewis

Woodson, Sr.

Paul Lewis Woodson, Sr., age 75, a resident of Selma, passed away Nov. 28, 2007.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Rea Woodson and his brother, Albert Woodson.

Surviving Mr. Woodson are his sons, Mark (Robin) Woodson and Paul (Wanda) Woodson, Jr.; brothers, Clarence Lee Woodson and James Woodson; sister, Louise Cole and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007 at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Selma Funeral Home with Jerry Sanders and Glen Walker officiating.

Interment will be in Pineview Memory

Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at Selma Funeral Home Friday, Nov. 30, 2007, from 6 until 8 p.m.

Pallbearers will be David Norris, Claude Eiland, Bill Bennett, Ken Clark, Leslie Nelson, Fielding Watts, Kory Taylor and Tommy McCarthy.

Mr. Woodson served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict and has been a member of the Brotherhood of the Paternal Order of Elks for over 40 years.

Ms. Flora Jean Pickering

PLANTERSVILLE &045; Flora Jean Pickering, 78, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007, in a local hospital.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, at Plantersville Christian Church with the Rev. Mike Wyatt officiating. Burial will follow in Plantersville Christian Cemetery under the direction of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home Inc.

Mrs. Pickering is survived by her husband, John Allen Pickering; sons, John Allen &8220;Johnny&8221; (Cynthia) Pickering Jr., Jimmy &8220;Jimbo&8221; Pickering and Eugene &8220;Dunk&8221; (Vickie) Pickering; two grandchildren, Amy (David) Sebren and Lea (J.T.) Lawrence; and two great-grandchildren, Samantha Sebren and Bradley Sebren; brothers, Leland (Pat) Colee and Calbert (Ruby) Colee; sister, Virginia Colee; 18 nieces and nephews.

Active pallbearers will be J.T. Lawrence, David Sebren, Les Pickering, Harvey Pickering, David Atchison and David Wilcox.

The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

FAUNSDALE &045; Mr. Jesse Bell, 82, of Faunsdale,

died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007, at Bryan Whitfield Hospital.

Funeral Services will be 1 p.m. today at Larkin & Scott Funeral Home Chapel.

Minister Curtis Rembert will officiate.

Burial will follow in First Baptist Cemetery, Faunsdale under the direction of Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis.

Public viewing was 1 to 6 p.m., Wednesday.
