Facing an unlikely upset of nationally ranked Prattville, Selma did what no other team has done all year against the Lions.
The Saints (4-5, 2-5 6A Region 4) scored three touchdowns but still fell 52-21.
The Lions (9-0, 7-0) have allowed 21 points one other time in the last 29 games – when they beat Hoover 35-21 in last year’s state championship game.
Running back Justin Albert scored a pair of touchdowns and ran for 118 yards, and the Lions scored three touchdowns on blocked punts.
Selma backup quarterback Keaton Spears led back-to-back scoring drives to cut the lead to 17, but Prattville pulled away with two late touchdowns.
